Nathan Paris, an 8th degree black belt and head of the Ukibane Dojo, has been studying the Martial Arts for over 16 years. Nathan began training in the Bujinkan in 1992. In 1997, Nathan moved to Japan to train with Bujinkan Grandmaster
Masaaki Hatsumi.
For three years Nathan lived in Japan training regularly with Soke Hatsumi, Nagato Sensei, and Noguchi Sensei. He earned his Godan (5th degree black belt) in 2000. The Ukibane Dojo (Sky Feather training hall) is an official branch of Hatsumi Soke's international Bujinkan (Warrior Spirit School).
Nathan continues to regularly visit Japan as well as host instructors who are currently living in Japan or have spent many years in Japan such as Andrew Young, Michael Pearce, and Phil Legare. The Ukibane Dojo is also a member of the BTSD (www.shinkentaijutsu.com) community.
Nathan is a husband and father of three children, therefore much of his training is focused on being able to protect the women and children.
